We stand behind every product we deliver because we control the process from design through manufacturing and installation.
Lux Standard Product Warranty
Lux Design + Manufacturing warrants all furniture products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of delivery, under normal use and conditions.
What This Covers
- Structural Integrity. Frames, joints, welding, and load bearing components. Our frames are engineered to support individuals up to 300 lbs, and our bariatric seating is rated to 500 lbs.
- Manufacturing Defects. Any failure resulting from defects in materials or craftsmanship, including hardware, mechanisms, and assembly.
- Finish and Coating. Surface finishes including wood stain, lacquer, powder coat, and PU topcoat are warranted against peeling, flaking, cracking, and blistering for two (2) years under normal use and proper maintenance.
- Seat Cushion Cores. Foam cores are warranted against loss of resiliency for two (2) years. Note: all cushion cores will soften with normal use over time. Loose seat cushions and back pillows should be rotated regularly. Natural loft reduction in polyester fibre is not considered a defect.
EverGrain by Lux
Our EverGrain aluminum furniture line carries enhanced warranty coverage reflecting its advanced engineering.
- Structural (Frame): Ten (10) years against defects in aluminum frame material, welding, and structural integrity.
- Finish (PU Topcoat + Powder Coat): Five (5) years against peeling, flaking, cracking, blistering, and excessive fading under normal use.
This is the strongest finish warranty in senior living furniture. No other wood grain alternative can match EverGrain's durability in high traffic environments.
Outdoor Furniture
Outdoor seating is warranted for three (3) years against structural defects in frame material and craftsmanship. Outdoor finishes and woven or rope materials are warranted for one (1) year under normal use.
Upholstery
All upholstery materials, including fabrics, vinyls, and leathers, are covered by the corresponding textile manufacturer's warranty. Lux will assist in coordinating any upholstery warranty claims on your behalf.
Our Commitment After Installation
We don't disappear after delivery day.
- 30 Day Check In. Our team reaches out to review every installation, address any issues, and confirm everything meets your expectations.
- 90 Day Follow Up. A second touchpoint to catch anything that may surface with regular use and ensure long term satisfaction.
- Ongoing Support. For portfolio clients, we conduct regular business reviews to assess product performance across your communities. Our goal is to be a long term partner, not a one time vendor.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim

- Original purchase order or project reference
- Date of installation
- Location and quantity of affected items
What Happens Next
We acknowledge every claim within two (2) business days. Our team will assess the issue and coordinate the appropriate resolution, whether that is repair, replacement, or credit. We handle the logistics so you can focus on your residents.
Resolution Options
Lux will, at its discretion, choose the most appropriate resolution for each warranty claim.
- Repair. We fix the product on site or arrange return for factory repair.
- Replace. We provide a replacement product at no charge.
- Credit. We issue a credit toward future orders.
In all cases, our priority is speed and minimal disruption to your community.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear. Gradual changes in appearance from regular daily use, including minor fading, fabric pilling, and surface patina.
- Misuse or abuse. Damage resulting from use beyond the product's intended purpose, excessive force, or improper handling.
- Improper maintenance. Damage caused by use of harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or failure to follow Lux's care and maintenance guidelines. Products cleaned with unapproved cleaning agents, including undiluted bleach or industrial solvents, are excluded from finish warranty coverage.
- Modifications. Any alteration, repair, or modification performed by anyone other than Lux or a Lux authorized service provider.
- Environmental damage. Damage from flooding, fire, extreme temperatures, or other events beyond normal operating conditions.
- Installation by others. Damage resulting from installation not performed or supervised by Lux.
- Glides and casters. Floor contact components are wear items and are not covered under this warranty.
General Terms
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is transferable to subsequent property owners upon written notice to Lux. Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery and installation.
Lux's liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or credit as described above. In no event shall Lux be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by province or state.
